“We need a MySpace!,” say some of our super-duper clients. “That’s the key to getting to new audiences.” While there is some truth to that, it’s important to understand the large commitment that is required to create an effective MySpace presence. Yes, it’s true there is no direct cost to create one for your brand – but beware, they do have the right to pull your MySpace at any time. On the other hand, time is money and in order to create a sustainable presence and to engage new audiences you will need to put sufficient time and energy into nurturing new audiences.
