Well, then you should become aware of virtual sites such as Stardoll, Doppelganger, Club Penguin and Gaia Online which are rapidly attracting a strong tween and teen market base. Unlike surfing a website like we are all accustomed to, they create virtual experiences (many are ‘Second Life’-like), connections and relationships with the youth audience that has advertisers clamoring over the possibilities of tapping this audience. You should expect it will be an expensive venture to effectively advertise in this space but for some productions it might just be worth it if you can make the messaging/promotion break-thru the clutter.
