A Call For Support - The Ian Bennett/Situation Cares Memorial Fund

Tue, February 12, 2008

Tags: Situation News

As many of you know, on April 15th 2007 Ian Bennett, the beloved Creative Director for Situation Marketing tragically died in a vehicular accident at the age of 26. Ian was the first full-time employee of Situation Marketing, an amazing creative talent and a friend who remains close to many hearts.

In memory of Ian, a scholarship fund called the Ian Bennett/Situation Cares Memorial Fund has been established. Through this fund, each year a high school student who shares Ian’s passion for the arts will be awarded $1,000 to help support their passion through higher education.

To learn more about the fund, you can check out http://www.SituationCares.org. It's a really basic site for now but, for those of you who didn't know Ian, you can read a letter that I think best described him.

For those that knew Ian or those that simply want to support this great new initiative, we invite you to contribute to the fund by clicking below and then selecting the Ian Bennett/Situation Cares Memorial Fund.

To those of you that have already submitted money in the past towards Ian's scholarship, that money is being transferred into this new fund.

I appreciate you all for your support for this great new initiative.
