When somebody is looking for information about your show, they most likely will access a search engine to find you. With that said, ever wonder how you are actually positioned when someone is searching for you?
Having your website being listed in the top 10 listings in Google is hard enough considering many show names were also books or even movies some time ago. So, being ranked #1 out of 1.5 million records is a challenge within itself.
What's even more important is what actually does show up in the top 10 listings on Google when you production name is searched for. Is it ticket brokers? Fan sites?
Take a look at what Starbucks has to deal with. Go to Google and search for "starbucks". The #2 listing is IHateStarbucks.com.
I can assure tens of thousands are seeing that website every day. It's amazing when you consider the deep pockets of Starbucks that they can't find away around this issue.
